If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be.

virtual mental health counseling for people in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida
Hi. I’m Lindsay (she/her).
Emotional healing is so much more than just changing a behavior—it’s about transforming your connection to yourself. I specialize in helping people understand and care for their depression, anxiety, and complex trauma. As a late-diagnosed AuDHDer, I also have a passion for helping people who want to explore their neurodivergence and develop a meaningful relationship with their unique wiring.
I respect that you are the expert of you, and I will trust your inner wisdom to lead our work. As a relational therapist, I also appreciate that humans are social creatures, which means we require connection and co-regulation to thrive. Together, we can nourish the curiosity it takes to understand your patterns on a deeper level so that you can discover an authentic and practical path forward.
I embody a de-pathologizing framework that is rooted in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), with influences from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment theory, polyvagal theory, and feminist theory.
That said, therapy is not one-size-fits-all. You are a complex human being with complex life experiences, and our work together should reflect that. Ultimately, my goal is to help you live the life you want with a deep reverence for who you already are. I’m not here to fix you. I’m here to see you and understand you—and to help you see and understand yourself.
I genuinely can’t wait to know you.
Specialties
Most of the people I work with are adults whose anxiety, depression, and attachment traumas have become barriers in their everyday lives.
Many of them have worked hard to appear as if they have it all together, but the fear of failure or being "found out" stalls the deep connection they desire with themselves and others.
Some experiences that my clients struggle with include:
trauma, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, ADHD, autism, OCD, identity exploration, authenticity, relationship difficulties, life transitions, boundaries, attachment, dysregulation, overwhelm, self-esteem, grief, substance use, disordered eating, body image, anger, people pleasing
Fee
My fee is $150 for every 50 to 55-minute session. Acceptable methods of payment include credit cards, debit cards, and HSA cards.
Virtual Therapy
All of our sessions will take place via Simple Practice, a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. The experience will be similar to Zoom or FaceTime. To prepare, you will need access to a device with audio and video, a strong internet connection, and a private space to speak freely.
